My design journey
Over time, I moved from web design to complex product UI: data-heavy interfaces, design systems, and implementation-ready specs
Now
Current position
I designed tools for cloud infrastructure analytics and planning, helping large fintech companies manage complex ecosystems of services, products, and environments:
Cloud Cost Explorer — helps understand cloud spend, track trends, forecast usage, and identify optimization options;
Utilization Monitor — helps detect underused resources across projects, products, environments, etc;
Infrastructure Planner — supports infrastructure and budget longterm planning;
Dashboard Builder — gives a flexible way to create custom reports and explore operational data.
I also built and maintain Mars Design System, which became the foundation for the company’s products and improved consistency, scalability, and quality
Knowledge sharing
Mentorship
The mentor experience strengthened a few skills I now use in product work:
Adapt communication by working with ~50 students at different starting levels, adjusting clarity, pace, and depth;
People-first collaboration, reflected in consistent top-10 mentor feedback rankings;
Share knowledge through Academy blog and course-book writing, plus lectures.
Co-authored a course on design fundamentals — a full program with structure, content, tasks, and examples
Engineering
Frontend
My frontend background keeps my design work grounded in how UI is actually built: so designs are easier to implement, review, and evolve.
Explicit handoff with interaction states, constraints, and failure cases;
More predictable implementation with fewer late surprises and less rework;
Stronger QA by catching visual inconsistencies and interaction bugs;
Better design systems through variants and behavior that translate cleanly into code
Web design
Web studio
Before moving into product design, I worked in a small web studio as an interface developer.
I built business websites for e-commerce and industrial clients — projects where clarity, structure, and implementation quality mattered
Education
Classical basis
I studied for Design in University, with a strong focus on visual craft: composition, typography, and form.
Beyond technique, it gave me a broader design lens: how visuals live in culture, shift over time, and borrow meaning from context, not just from requirements
